2D Look Animations
I’ve been experimenting with a setup in 3D animation to generate a convincing 2D look for some time now. The idea was to ensure a quick turnaround so the technique could be used effectively in future commercial projects. This resulted in a simple, simulation driven, customisable figure linked to motion capture data. All of this allows for animations similar to the ones shown here to be produced within a day.
